Brand guidelines

About the brand
Although Damn Good Security has a seemingly simple logo, with a simple message, we still have some recommendations if you choose to use our logo in advertising, sponsorship, media, and more.
If you're unsure about if using our brand is appropriate, or if you have any questions - feel free to drop us a message at [email protected] and we'll be happy to help.

How to use our brand

We provide the best digital solutions.

Space is good

Ensure there's at least a 50 pixel (px) empty space around our logo on all sides before any other content, logo, or similar. Basically it shouldn't ever "touch" something else.

Don't clutter

Don't put other logos or imagery "inside" of the logo's bounding box. Putting the logo infront of a background image is fine, so long as it's clearly visible.

Don't be rude

We're quite protective of our image as we're trying to do good things. Please don't use our logo or branding, or any likeness to our image, in offensive material.

Transparency matters

We're a transparent company, and our logo is too. Please keep the transparency in. If the background image totally doesn't work with either the white or the black logo, reach out to us for help. We'd be happy to assist.

Alterations

Altering the logo (such as changing the colours, altering the text) is strictly forbidden. Similarly skewing/angling/stretching the logo or messing with the kerning is also a no-no.

No distortion (sorry Kurt)

Our asset pack contains hi-res versions of our logo and the Illustrator file. Please don't make our logo all grainy and pixelated, especially in print. If you have a specific size you need but can't quite manage it - shout and we'll gladly help.

Download our assets

We've put together a load of assets for you to use, including pre-rendered images at various sizes and colours as well as an EPS and illustrator (AI) file.
